We collect and process your personal data during and after our mutual collaboration or communication and we want to inform you about our procedure regarding personal data collection and processing, all in compliance with the Article 13 and 14 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

Purpose of data processing

We process your personal data:

  • ​in order reply to your e-mail which you have sent us by contact form on this web site or by e-mail. In that case we process only your name and surname, e-mail and data which you delivered by yourself in the content of the same e-mail;
  • ​if you are our business partner or a client in which case we process only personal data which are necessary for the purpose of the conclusion of the contract and performance and execution of the contract;
  • ​in case you have sent us your resume with a job application when we process only data which you delivered in the resume.

Storage period

The law firm processes only relevant data as long as it is necessary for the purpose of processing for which they are collected, i.e. as long as prescribed by applicable regulation regarding our business activity. We review storage periods on regular basis and delete data for which there is no longer a purpose for processing or storage obligations. If you are our client or business partner, we will store your information for ten years starting at the end of our collaboration, and if you have sent us your resume for the purpose of employment, we will delete the related data as soon as the candidate selection process for the job is completed.

The basis of data processing

We collect and process your personal data based on contract we concluded with you, or when required by applicable regulations, or when such processing is necessary to comply with our legal obligations. If you have provided us with your resume as a potential job candidate, we do the processing based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time, but this does not affect the legality of the pre-withdrawal processing.

This web site does not collect your personal information unless you have used the contact form to contact us. All personal data is collected and processed in paper and electronic form in our internal computer database.

Security measures

During processing, we take the appropriate steps to ensure that your personal data is accurate and complete, as well as security measures to protect your personal data from loss, unauthorized access, disclosure or destruction, and our team members are obliged to keep your data in accordance with the concluded contracts and the Lawyer’s code of professional conduct.

Recipients

We do not disclose your personal data to third parties except when necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations, such as the delivery of data in court proceedings or obligations imposed by applicable regulations, such as the submission of data to competent authorities after you have established an employment relationship with us. Your personal data will be available / provided to our processors with whom we have a regulated contractual relationship regarding the protection of personal data and confidentiality of the same as it is in the case of subjects that maintain our computer systems or provide accounting services.

Rights of the data subject

At any time, you may ask us for information regarding the processing of your personal data and to access your personal data or request its correction or deletion. You also have the right to request a restriction of processing that applies to you and to object to the processing.

If you suspect a breach of protection of your personal data occurred, you have the right to file a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency.
